Leadership Conference

All Leadership Academy Graduates are invited to attend our Annual Leadership Conference, and invite one guest to attend. During the conference, graduates have a chance to network with graduates from other Leadership Classes in order to develop stronger connections across Central City South neighborhoods. Participants also have the opportunity to attend several learning sessions. The topics for these sessions include cultural diversity, self- esteem, civic engagement, intergenerational storytelling and information on how to access various services provided in the area.

 

 

6th Annual Leadership
Academy Conference

Building resident leadership skills,
building relationships for community partnerships.

The Intergenerational Leadership Conference is held each year to reunite graduates and continue to build on skills for personal and community growth. Sixty graduates and their guests joined us for a day of learning and laughing. Six learning tables were provided and everyone enjoyed the day. To date, we have graduated 200 residents ranging from 12 years old to 77 years old in twenty classes. The next Leadership Class will be held on January 7 th and 14 th in 2012.
