Central City South Community Garden Program The Garden program provides area residents with education and resources to access nutritious and healthy food at affordable prices. Supported by a grant from Sundt Construction residents are provided education and technical assistance to plan, select items, plant and harvest their community garden. Additionally, they form garden clubs at each site increasing the socialization opportunities and creating a project of great pride. A special thank you to Sundt Construction for providing a grant to support the community gardens. Their support has provided supply money to our existing gardens and allowed us to launch a new garden at Vernell Coleman recreation center. In addition, grant monies have been used to support a garden at Unlimited Potential in South Phoenix and to help reconstruct the garden beds at Senior Opportunities West.
