Central City South Community Garden Program

The Garden program provides area residents with education and resources to access nutritious and healthy food at affordable prices. Supported by a grant from the State of Arizona – Department of Economic Security, residents are provided education and technical assistance to plan, select items, plant and harvest their community garden. Additionally, they form garden clubs at each site increasing the socialization opportunities and a project of great pride.

Phoenix Revitalization Corporation provides two annual workshops, dedicates a page in the Central City South Newsletter informing residents of the garden activities and remains partners with the Phoenix Public Market to bring additional opportunities to the residents.
